Concealed carry reciprocity is when a state recognizes a concealed weapons permit issued by another state, allowing a visiting permit holder to legally carry. There is no national standard: each state decides whose permits it honors. Constitutional-carry states often honor all valid out-of-state permits, while more restrictive states honor few or none.
