How it works
A weighted grade values each item by its share of the total mark. Multiply every score by its weight, add them up, and divide by the total weight used. The letter grade then comes from the usual percentage bands.

Frequently asked questions
How is a weighted grade calculated?
Multiply each score by its weight, sum, and divide by total weight. An 80 at 40% and 90 at 60% gives 86%.
How do I find the grade I need on the final?
